The Pennine Bridleway – Horse Riding Holidays

The Farms

Both farms are within a mile of the Pennine Bridleway. There are a variety of rides available offering alternative distances and types of terrain to suit all abilities.

Rushop Hall

Rushop Hall is a four star, grade 2 listed building nestling in the fabulous Peak District National Park. It has been recently renovated to retain a wealth of beautiful original features complimented by the sympathetic provision of all the modern amenities that you would expect – the best of both worlds.

For the horses we can provide unlimited grazing across numerous paddocks along with 5 stables and indoor areas for washing down, tacking up and grooming. Helen Wallis, the yard Manager, is always available for any equine advice or help that you may require, particularly concerning any aspects of The Pennine Bridleway.

Jan and Neil always go the extra mile to ensure that your horse riding holiday is relaxing, memorable and hassle free – a warm and friendly welcome comes as standard.

Arbor Low

The farmhouse at Arbor Low, Upper Oldhams Farm has been renovated over the last four years by Steve and Nicky. Guests have a wing of the house with their own lounge and dining room. Grazing is totally flexible and shelter can be provided if required in good sized indoor stock pens.
