Horse Holidays in Derbyshire

Example Itinerary

3 night horse holiday package

DAY ONE

Arrive at Arbor Low. Settle your horse and then drive your trailer/lorry to Rock Farm. Rachel or Mike will then drop you back at Arbor Low in time for a home cooked dinner with wine. Relax in the guest lounge or visit Arbor Low Stone Circle, the “Stonehenge” of the North. Stay overnight at Arbor Low.

DAY TWO

After a hearty breakfast ride from Arbor Low to Rushop Hall along the Pennine Bridleway. Stop en-route to enjoy your packed lunch. Arrive at Rushop Hall where you will again be treated to a fabulous two course dinner before retiring to the guest lounge with wonderful views of the Peak District National Park.

DAY THREE

Ride from Rushop Hall to Rock Farm, another great route along the Pennine Bridleway with stunning views of the Dark Peak. Arrive at Rock Farm and enjoy afternoon tea on the lawn (weather permitting)! Dinner will be served in the dining room where you can again enjoy some of the best views of the Peak District National Park.

DAY FOUR

Ride a circular route from Rock Farm (distance of your choice) and depart.

Total cost £195 per person (based on two sharing a twin or double room).

Of course your horse holiday in Derbyshire can be extended by adding extra days at any/all of the farms. Each location has numerous petal loop rides and we are very happy to provide maps and directions to ensure that you have a really memorable riding holiday.
