Hartington to Stalybridge

Alison on Holly and Debbie on Maisy

Debbie and Alison successfully rode from Hartington back home to Stalybridge this week staying at all three farms on the way. Picture taken as they set off from Arbor Low.

hens and hay



had 50 new hens delivered, they are too scared to come outside still. two cycling danes exhausted themselves with some extra curiccular routes but thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the tweed party have kept our other guests amused. I have bought 2 new hay nets, i didn`t realise how many variations on a theme there were, so opted for yellow and red instead.

A grand day out!

Mike on Badger

Took Bobby and Badger to the seaside at Ainsdale today. The beach was almost empty giving us the chance to have a good canter up to Southport and back. Finished off with fish and chips!

the garden



steve has mown the `garden` with the calves.they are now back in the field. he has bought some stuff to put yet another gate in the field to make more technologically advanced paddocks. humphries party departed in glorious sunshine and now the geese are enjoying the rain, yet again.
