Peak District Horse Riding, Cycling and Walking Breaks
Terms and Conditions
A non refundable deposit of 50% is required with your booking and the
balance will be due no later than 28 days before the start of your holiday.
Please note your payment is non-refundable and we are unable to change
the date of your holiday within 28 days of your original arrival date.
We therefore suggest that due to the unpredictable nature of life with
horses you take out appropriate insurance.
All bookings are taken on the condition that all riders and horses are
fully insured against third party risks. Any vehicles should also be
insured against third party liabilities and are parked on the premises
at the owner's own risk. All horses should be vaccinated against equine
flu, be wormed and hold a passport.
We accept responsibility for making bookings for accommodation (bed,
breakfast and evening meal) for you and your group and DIY stabling or
grazing for your horses. Please let us know whether you require stabling
or grazing before your stay so that we can ensure stables are available
when you arrive. It is your responsibility to look after your horse and
this includes feeding and mucking out. Stables must be left as they were
found. A mucking out service can be provided at a cost of £5 per
stable per day. We reserve the right to make this charge should stables
not be left in a satisfactory condition.
Should anything go wrong with your booking we will in no case be liable
for more than the total fee you have paid. The accommodation providers
are individually responsible for their own actions and omissions. They
are joined together for marketing purposes and for your enjoyment. We
do not accept any responsibility for loss, damage or injury to you, your
horse, personal effects or tack.
Although every care will be taken to provide up to date route information,
we assume that you are able to read a map and will in no way be liable
if you fail to reach your overnight stop. We recommend you purchase the
National Trail Guide to the Pennine Bridleway, Derbyshire to the South
Pennines published by Aurum press as this contains detailed maps and
directions for the whole route.
We reserve the right to cancel your holiday in any circumstances. In
this event we will either return all monies paid or offer an alternative
date. We will inform you of such changes as soon as is reasonably possible.
